A new chapter in Silvana Derungs' life began on 1 August 2021. Silvana Derungs completed her first year of training as a hotel specialist at the Scalottas Foundation in Scharans. She will now spend the next two years with us at the Hotel Schweizerhof, mainly in the guest area (catering and reception). Silvana, who enjoys swimming, hiking, skiing and sometimes reading a book, will be looked after by Yolanda Moen, our catering apprentice, as her "godmother" during the first few weeks. Yolanda is on hand to answer any questions she may have and can therefore take on a little responsibility herself. Silvana is particularly looking forward to the daily contact with the hotel guests. Silvana Derungs will spend her first few weeks in the housekeeping area so that she can really get to know every corner of our hotel.
